OUR STORY

Many college friendships can evolve into lasting bonds that provide support and companionship throughout life. That pretty much sums up our friendship.  It started with studying, sharing notes, and enjoying the college life at Viterbo University.  We’ve been together through marriages, each other’s maid of honor, to birth of babies, our children’s sporting events, our children’s graduations, loss of our fathers, our children’s marriages and most recently a cancer diagnosis.  The latter is what lead us to our joint venture of KupCakes (K in our name for Kate and C in our name for Cheryl).  As we navigated diagnosis of cancer, there were a lot of quiet moments where there was not really anything that could be said to make the diagnosis of cancer go away.  So instead, we baked.  And boy did we bake!  Just ask our family and friends who probably gained a couple of pounds from our new adventures.  Never underestimate the power of friendship.  One friendship can change a person’s life forever....... so can our KupCakes!
